Q?WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

You can call us, email us, or leave a note on the counter. Either way, be sure to give us an advanced notice for requests that may take more than an extra 1/2 hour or so to complete.

Q?HOW LONG HAS MARY’S CLEANING SERVICES BEEN IN BUSINESS?
A.

Mary’s Cleaning Services has been in business for over 15 years.

Q?WHAT IF SOMETHING IS DAMAGED WHEN MY HOME IS BEING CLEANED?
A.

We treat all homes with care; however if something breaks we will make every effort to have the item repair, or replaced. Insurance claims will be filed when appropriate.

Q?HOW WILL OUR RELATIONSHIP WORK?
A.

For residential services we do not use contracts, we depend on open communications and your evaluation of our services. For commercial facilities we do it in a case by case basis.

Q?DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE MARY’S CLEANING SERVICES ARRIVES?
A.

It is best that all toys, clothes, dirty dishes, personal items and valuables are put away before we arrive. If you do not have a chance to do so, we will always try to do this for you. If you would like us to always pick up these items, let us know so that we can schedule more time to do so.

Q?WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY MAID SERVICE?

Mary’s Cleaning Services works with you. Simply call 72-hours before your regularly scheduled home cleaning with a more convenient cleaning time. We will do our best to accomodate your scheduling needs

Q?ONE OF MY REGULAR VISITS IS ON A HOLIDAY, WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS CASE?
A.

We do not clean on the following holidays when they fall on a weekday:

    • New Years Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Christmas Day

We usually send a notice or call you to arrange a different day to clean your house.

 

Q?HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH PETS?
A.

Cats are not a problem. We make sure that indoors cats do not go outside. Dogs are usually confine by their owner into an area of the house not being cleaned, such as the basement, garage, spare bedroom or kennel.

Q?IF I SIGN UP FOR LONG TERM SERVICE, WILL THE SAME PERSON BE IN HOME EACH TIME?
A.

We make every effort to ensure that one of the two team members who serve your home cleans during each visit. If a member of the team changes, our office staff contacts you beforehand to learn if you prefer someone other than your cleaning team, or would rather change your scheduled day so your favorite team member can clean.

Q?WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MARY’S CLEANING SERVICES AND ANOTHER CLEANING SERVICE?

Mary’s Cleaning Services has more than 10 years of experience in professional residential cleaning. That’s our specialty. It’s what we do exclusively. We clean hundreds of thousands of homes across the United States and Canada, and even in other countries like the United Kingdom and Japan. All of us at Merry Maids understand that we must earn and keep your trust, and clean thoroughly and efficiently while respecting your individuality. We believe that and act on that.

Q?DO I HAVE TO BE HOME DURING HOUSE CLEANING?
A.

Because we clean Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most of our customers aren’t home but the vast majority trust Mary’s Cleaning Services with the key to their home. For additional security, all house keys are individually coded and cross-referenced.

Q?WHAT TIME DOES MARY’S CLEANING SERVICES ARRIVE?
A.

Mary’s Cleaning Services can’t guarantee what time residential housekeepers will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves and not a pre-determined amount of time. Still, most homes fall easily into regularly scheduled cleaning windows between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Q?HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE IN MY HOME DURING EACH CLEANING?
A.

Typically, there will be two people in your home – a team captain and a team member. On rare occasions, there may be three people or one person. For example, if you need emergency help fast, the office staff may send three people to do the job. If your home is very small, one person may be able to complete the job quickly and thoroughly. We will work with you so you know how many people will be in your home. We respect that your home is private, and the trust you place in us by inviting us into your home.

Q?WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Our pricing is completely individualized. Our more than 10 years of experience have helped us learn that every home is as unique as the people living there. We base our pricing on many factors, including the presence of pet hair, clutter and even your lifestyle. That is why we like to meet with you before quoting you a price. Q?DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES?
A.

No, we completely individualize our cleaning. We use a proven system to clean thoroughly, consistently and efficiently.
